Bi-level Energy Trading Model Incorporating Large-scale Biogas Plant and Demand Response Aggregator

چکیده

Increasing intermittent renewable energy sources (RESs) intensifies the imbalance between demand and generation, entailing diversification of deployment electrical storage systems (ESSs). A large-scale biogas plant (LBP) installed with heating devices (BES) usually exhibits a storage-like characteristic accommodating an increasing penetration level RES in rural areas, which is addressed this paper. By utilizing temperature-sensitive anaerobic digestion that enables LBP to exhibit characteristic, paper proposes bi-level trading model incorporating response aggregator (DRA) simultaneously. In model, social welfare maximized at upper while profit DRA lower level. Compared cases only DRA, results show proposed improves on-site accommodation capacity photovoltaic (PV) generation up 6.3%, 18.1%, 18.9% 30%, 40%, 50% PV levels, respectively, better economic performance. This nonlinear problem finally recast by single-level mathematical program equilibrium constraints (MPEC) using Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) conditions solved Cplex solver. The effectiveness validated 33-bus test system sensitivity analysis provided for analyzing what parameter influences most.

Coordinated resource scheduling in a large scale virtual power plant considering demand response and energy storages

Virtual power plant (VPP) is an effective approach to aggregate distributed generation resources under a central control. This paper introduces a mixed-integer linear programming model for optimal scheduling of the internal resources of a large scale VPP in order to maximize its profit. The proposed model studies the effect of a demand response (DR) program on the scheduling of the VPP. The pro...

A Game Theoretic Model of Demand Response Aggregator Competition for Selling Stored Energy in Regulated and Unregulated Power Markets

This work is concerned with the application of game-theoretic principles to model competition between demand response aggregators for selling excess energy stored in electrochemical storage devices directly to other aggregators in a power market. This market framework is presented as an alternative to the traditional vertically-integrated market structure, which may be better suited for develop...

On Bi-Level Multi-Objective Large Scale Quadratic Programming Problem

This paper presents a bi level large scale multi objective quadratic programming problem (BLLSMOQPP) with fuzzy parameters in the objective functions problem. In the first phase convert the fuzzy parameters of the problem to equivalent crisp problem to make it easy in solving. In the second phase use Taylor series to convert the quadratic problem to linear problem to be easy for solving with th...
